Pat: Hi, I’m coach Pat O’Connor here with CoachUp. Developing a strong core is really important, especially for a cross country runner. V sit helps develop core muscles. You lie down on your back, hands extended behind your body, feet extended out in front of you, and you fold yourself up and hold that position.
