Fartlek Running Form
Transcription: “Hi, I’m Coach Amanda. Talking about the fartlek run right now. You want to start this run with about 10-15 minute warm up. The idea is to put surges within your run, they’re about 75-80 percent effort so you’re gonna pick maybe 2 minute surges. And pick a point that you’re gonna run to and you’re gonna run fast to that point, then you rest for 2 minutes. Usually do somewhere between 10-12 surges each, maybe less if you’re doing a longer fartlek. And then you wanna finish that up with a nice 10-15 minute cool down.”
