I am proud to introduce Athletic Evolution as CoachUp’s first Sports Performance and Training Center in the Greater Boston area. I was immediately impressed upon entering the facility’s doors. Led by Erik Kaloyanides, Athletic Evolution is a premiere indoor training complex located conveniently at the intersection of I-93 and I-95 in Woburn. It currently houses 6,000 square feet of turf, a 2,000 square foot CrossFit area, in addition to 10,000 square feet of the latest and best strength and conditioning equipment – not to mention a brand new hockey rink and lacrosse box coming in January. Led by Erik Kaloyanides, President and Founder, Athletic Evolution is the perfect facility to service everything from athletic performance, sports specific skill development, injury rehabilitation, nutrition consultation, weight loss, and any fitness related goal that you might have. CoachUp’s coaches will have access to Athletic Evolution’s turf for one-on-one and small group training with their CoachUp clients. Athletes can also now find Erik and his staff on the CoachUp platform for all of your strength, speed, and sport performance needs. Ask your coach about doing your sessions inside at Athletic Evolution this winter and get to know the Athletic Evolution staff!
More on the Athletic Evolution Team
Erik is considered one of the nation’s leading experts in athletic performance training. Erik prides himself on training athletes of all ages and playing a role in not only their athletic development but mentoring them as well. Most recently, Erik went to the 2014 Olympic Winter games with 2 of his athletes. He also trained MA native Pat Connaughton who was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles and the Portland Trailblazers and recorded the 2nd highest Vertical Jump ever at the NBA combine, as well as trained fellow MA native Chris Shaw who played college baseball at Boston College and was most recently drafted in the 1st round by the San Francisco Giants.
“I know first hand the power that a trainer can have on an individual. My strength coach at Syracuse did so much for me both as an athlete and as a person,” says Erik Kaloyanides. I not only train the body, but I work with the mind and make sure that as much emphasis that is placed on improving our speed, strength, and agility is also placed on improving one’s self confidence.
