Why did you decide to become a private coach?
When I was younger, I never had the chance to work with a private coach, but a lot of my teammates did. I saw the way they improved. So why not now that I’ve gained my experience give back and help improve kids’ abilities?
What do you enjoy most about coaching?
I love passing on my knowledge. I’ve played at every level. There are a lot of things people don’t know about certain levels, so I can help the younger generation and give some of my experience to them.
What can a client expect from private lessons with you?
I like to work a lot on the technical aspects of the game. I was raised with repetition and playing with the ball as much as possible. You have to have the technical side down; it’s extremely import. Then you can work on the tactical side as well. Those are the two major parts of game we’ll work on.
What is your coaching style or philosophy?
I’m a big believer in being technically sound. You have to maximize your potential as an individual to maximize the potential of the team overall.
What is your favorite moment in your athletic career?
I have two: Playing in the U-17 World Cup and my debut in the MLS.
Do you have any success stories from coaching an athlete?

I was a kicker in football when I was in high school. I also did track and field.
